justmiss: justo: A picture from outside the Louisville Slugger Museaum. The Louisville Slugger is the most famous baseball bat, which made its first bat in 1884. The original company previously made bed posts, wooden bowling pins, and butter churns. The factory now produces approximately 1500 bats per day.  My baseball nerd heart just went pitter patter. I had to reblog this because I live in Louisville. I love this city! If you take a tour of the factory, they give you a mini slugger at the end. At least they used to.
